This year the Brooker Board of Managers and staff have decided to merge two programs under a single name.  The merged program will be called the Ruth Chadwick Care closet and will combine the objectives of the Ruth Chadwick Tree of Angels, which provides Christmas gifts to children in the Brooker programs, and the Brooker Memorial Care Closet, which provides support and supplies to families and children that have been identified throughout the year.

Ruth E. Chadwick was a dedicated community volunteer.  In addition to her involvement in many organizations throughout her lifetime, Mrs. Chadwick served as a corporator and board member of Brooker Memorial for more than 27 years.

During this time she was devoted to children, serving on the Child Care Committee and spending countless hours annually preparing, planning and soliciting Christmas gifts and donations for Brooker Children’s Christmas parties.  We are honored to place her name on this newly formed program.
